PTS Medicals Teesside / County Durham / Newcastle / Sunderland and North Yorkshire

Authorised and endorsed by Network Rail, Drug & Alcohol Testing Services Ltd provides PTS Medical Screening services to Network Rail personnel according to the relevant RGS and Network Standards including NR/L2/OHS/018 and NR/L2/ OHS/00124. As a Network Rail approved supplier (cert no. 134 787) DATS provides Medical Screening which includes:

• Visual Acuity
• Audiometric Assessment
• Colour Vision Assessed using Ishihara Plates Test (using at least plates 1 – 21)
• Height
• Weight
• Blood Pressure
• Urine Dipstick Test to Screen for Disease (e.g. Diabetes / Kidney Infection)
• General Health Assessment Including
• Assessment of Mobility
• Assessment of Alertness and Psychological Wellbeing

Based in Teesside and Sentinel approved (cert. no. 134 787), DATS provides both drug & alcohol testing and Railtrack Medicals for railway safety critical workers throughout the North East including Middlesbrough, Washington, Gateshead, Stockton on Tees, Durham, Sunderland, Newcastle Upon Tyne and North Yorkshire areas. Medicals are typically undertaken at its head offices situated in central Middlesbrough, however subject to agreement and suitability, medicals and drugs & alcohol testing will be administered at the instructing organisations premises.

With ISO 9001 certification for its quality management systems and backed up by laboratories meeting UKAS / ISO 17025 standards, DATS is qualified to perform PTS Medicals by Achilles by virtue of successful completion of a rigorous audit and is accordingly RISQS approved.
